For those of you who have never heard of “The 48 Hour Film Project,” I encourage you to visit their website. Very exciting filmmaking! Filmmakers from all around the world, engage in this competition. Film crew and their teams have 48 hours to film and finalize a 4-7 minute movie. This year’s competition theme is the “Go Green” challenge. Films must contain environmental themes. Awareness, yes!
I have accepted an offer to be on one of the teams competing, to compose their film score. I’m thrilled to be a part of this team and am looking forward to seeing what develops! ; ) -will keep you posted on this~
Rowan and I have had another opportunity to work together! Feldmann Nissan car dealership in Bloomington is throwing a contest to write a jingle for them. We teamed up to jump at the opportunity to write the Best Song (and/or Music Video) to win! I composed a Song titled “Make driving fun again” and Rowan took care of the wonderful light-hearted, upbeat voiceover work.

Monday, November 29th, I appeared on the television show “Showcase Minnesota” which is aired on NBC’s KARE 11 station. From start to finish, e-mails to greetings, they were such nice people to work with. Thank you to Rob Hudson and Corbin Seitz, the producer Jessica Fix, the sound engineer Nichole White and all else involved for making it such a pleasurable experience.

Exciting news! I will be the featured musical guest on NBC KARE 11’s daytime show “Showcase Minnesota.” It airs on Monday, November 29 at 10:00am on the Twin Cities television station number 11. I hope you get a chance to see me on my first television appearance! I will be playing music from my new CD “Between Time.”

Remodeling has taken place at the Glaser residence! We converted our basement into the new studio space for Michelle Glaser Music. We’re very pleased with the results, and it’s a great place where I can create! Also, it is where I consult with clients about composing a custom song for them, or collaborate with other musicians. All in all, Michelle Glaser Music is ready to meet your needs.

There will be over 20 locally owned vendors, and appetizers will be catered by Zoie Glass of Lucille’s Kitchen Garden. Music will be provided by the supremely talented pianist/composer, Michelle Glaser. One lucky door prize winner will receive a free one-hour keynote speaking program from Theresa Rose, dynamic national motivational speaker, award-winning author, and Bringer of the Mojo!
